Car rental – can I use BA card instead of Platinum and still get cover

It has been a while since I rented a car. If I recall correctly I don’t need to get any additional insurance etc when I pick up the car (despite all the pressure I am anticipating at the counter!) as the Platinum card covers me. If I use my BA Amex card to pay for the rental will I still be covered by the Platinum insurance? I think the answer is yes but I could not find the information (would appreciate the link to the info so I can store it away). Thanks.
Yes not probs. Its the Plat travel insurance that has some exceptions when not paying with Plat.
