    Hello All,

Between myself and the missus we have 2 Virgin Atlantic cards, 1 of them already has a companion voucher – the other is close to the spend limit. We also both have BA Amex cards and have companion vouchers on them – in parallel I was lucky to be offered the Amex plat upgrade and on track to the 80k bonus points there too.

We still have some sizable spend coming up in the next few months – I am wondering what cards should we consider to maximise the points/cashbacks/bonuses if any currently running?

Thanks a lot for all your inputs.

    Barclaycard Avios/Plus comes to mind.

    Or Plat for Player 2.

Take a look at the bonus retailers on Revolut. If some of your substantial spend aligns with their bonuses then the “ultra” plan can be extremely lucrative in Avios, Flying Blue, or TAP. A single purchase for £ 2,500 could yield 20,000 miles.

Note: reward spend is capped so do not exceed £ 2,500/month

Since when revolut ultra is capped for rewards?

It seems RevPoints are paid on your first £2,500 (or the equivalent in your local currency) of monthly spend with Shops

I noticed the message in-app sometime about a month ago? not paid close attention but would appear to be per calendar month. Note, this is the total spend, and takes no account of the multiplier, so if you think you are going to spend a lot of money in Morrisons or Apple or Condor, avoid large spends elsewhere until you have all your high-multiplier retailers ticked off for the month.

    Thanks!
