3 years on from the last post… what’s the best non-Amex cashback credit card available at the moment?

It appears to be the Amazon Barclaycard. Gives you get a £30 Amazon voucher on signup, and 0.5% cashback for the first year – dropping to 0.25% after that.

    Thoughts?

There is no such product as an Amazon Barclaycard, but in my opinion, the Amex unbranded cashback cards are the two best cashback cards currently available by a long distance.

If you don’t already have a 0% FX card the Barclaycard paying 0.25% cashback is decent. I’ve used it for 3 years and it’s only let me down once and that was in South Africa for road tolls where foreign CCs aren’t accepted.

It’s on the Amazon website, and also on the MSE website? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BH98211K/?ref=BAPRN001&plattr=BAPRN001 🤔

Virgin Money now also offer a 0.25% cashback card with no foreign exchange fees, although it’s capped at £15 cashback a month (£6,000 spend) https://uk.virginmoney.com/cards/products/everyday-cashback-cards/
