    It’s not uncommon for a passengers contact details to not be in an agency booking. Often the first time you log in to the booking on the airline site they’ll ask for these or you are free to add/update them, which is always advisable as you’ve discovered.

    So unfortunately this lands squarely at the door of your agent, it is their job to manage your booking up until T-24hrs and CX did all that is required of them.

    Agree with JDB, this isn’t something one of the “ambulance chasers” will pick up as a matter of course. Also, depending on who it is it’s possible their office is not in the UK. It may unfortunately be a situation where you end up taking the refund and chalking it up to experience. Another reminder to always book direct (or at least use a reputable agent like Amex)
