Did this a few years ago for 50K points. Boulevard of cars is great, dining in the Senna suite was good too.
Amex have blocked me from making referrals and won’t tell me why…..very annoying
@Yuff – there’s a thread on this somewhere, it’s not just you! Can’t recall if anyone managed to resolve it.
I’m sure there used to be a site that showed ways to get points between programmes that don’t have direct conversions. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?
I may need to cancel a BA reward flight but won’t know until quite close to the flight (probably T-4 or 5 days), I know I can cancel up to 24 hours out, but is this still the case if I’ve checked in 7 days prior with bronze status ?
You can’t check in 7 days before a flight. As Bronze you can choose your seat, but that has nothing to do with checking in or subsequently cancelling.
For those that fill up at Costco, they’ve recently added the petrol prices to their website.

Doh ! good point. Very distracted at the moment !
Am looking to use my Barclaycard upgrade voucher for a one-way flight MAN-BLR in July on BA.
Premium economy is coming out at 35000 Avios + £177.50
Business class is 25000 Avios + £1561 with no option to adjust the number of Avios used and cash paid.
All seems very bizarre.
Any ideas why the pricing would be like this?
I’m not sure what’s throwing up the J pricing, but did you remember to re-select the voucher each time you searched? The system (typically) takes you back to the wrong page if you click on “start again”.
Also, were you getting it to quote J with a MAN connection? It has been known to happen but BA IT usually thwarts it and you have to call!
Also, just noticed an email from BA offering bonus TPs for travel up to December 2026! They must be worried about the metallic avian rivals and so on 😂
