So BA order new Boeing jets timing it well with the trade deal. Am sure they have got pretty good discounts.
But VS, who have seats worse than BA, appear to have wasted this opportunity!Wasted what opportunity?
These orders have been in the pipeline for months if not years.
It’s not like there’s a special trade deal signing opening day discount on offer.
IAG (who order planes not its subsidiaries) didn’t just decide on these orders (they also placed an order with Airbus) yesterday morning.
Surely they’d could negotiate the ones ordered by Chinese carriers now that they won’t be taking delivery?

Looks like if YOU make a change you lose it.
Thanks – turns out the answer may actually be in the refunds section – hadn’t spotted it until you posted the link.
“ When you can’t claim a refund
<snip>
– If you choose to change your flight you will be entitled to choose an equivalent seat on your new flight. If you change to a lower priced seat, we will be unable to refund you the difference”

If Boeing suddenly have planes available they’d offer to those at the top of the queue for orders to fulfil those orders sooner rather than hawk them on the plane equivalent of e-bay?
My parents are visiting Greece (7 day cruise) then the UK, travelling from New Zealand. They’re after advice on options for mobile phone coverage as their Samsung Galaxy A12 doesn’t support eSIM (apparently).
Any thoughts on their best option?
Three PAYG will be their best option, includes roaming all over Europe, UK and even NZ if they have any of the package left. Also includes voice and SMSs which most data only eSIMs don’t.
Can get as a physical SIM or eSIM.

AI suggests it does support esims..but who knows?
BA flash sale.
Yawn.
Except Mrs Froggee actually saved money. She was about to book flights down to London with Kermit (poor her) and hadn’t got round to it earlier today.
£155 return for two pax (albeit one being a child for a £14 saving) is crazy bookers cheap.

The AI query that I posted above suggested otherwise, which may point to the erstwhile stated reliability (or otherwise) of AI. My experience of AI in the professional arena is that it can be a bit of an echo chamber.
