I assume this is to do with the coming soon advert in the ba app?

What’s the best way to contact Virgin Flying Club for missing tier points and points from partner airlines?

5/7 of my LATAM flights credited within a couple of days of flying but no sign of 2 of them after 3 weeks. Online form wants a Virgin booking reference, but I booked direct with Latam and my Virgin FFN was added into the booking as part of a ‘job lot’ with the others by a Latam CS agent so should be fine as the others credited ok

Email vapartnerpoints@fly.virgin.com. Include the PNR, ticket number, dates, route and fare class.

Any recommendations for a PP lounge at Edinburgh? Trying to decide whether to try the Plaza Premium, Aspire or Escape lounge first. Heading off to Dublin with Ryanair in the afternoon – will likely want a light lunch, a coffee and a drink or two

s seats available to EZE for any date in any class with BA, but lots to GIG and GIG-EZE. As there are only 2 of us and we have the time we have chosen to go via Madrid. However this year we’re travelling separately as our interests differ greatly – I want to go to Uschuaia and OH has absolutely no interest!

Good knowledge – thank you (and of course I meant GIG in my original post..not enough sleep!)

Working on a bit of a plan B….

Great, thanks @davefl, will give that a go

Quick question on an BA Amex companion voucher. If booking a reward flight via an agent, can I use the companion voucher on the outward trip for the 1st leg of the journey. The first leg is via AL which is valid for companion redemptions. Will BA ticket the two legs as one ticket or treat the connecting flight as a separate journey? The agent was unsure. The inward journey will be BA metal.

Tell us your itinerary and airlines (though I suspect you’re referring to Aer Lingus, which is usually abbreviated as EI) and it’ll be easier to give you an answer.

Good evening from Crowne Plaza T4 Club Lounge – complete with the standard warm welcome from Michelle. She is always so kind to our children. They always do her a thank you card from the previous gift she gets them from the prior visit. She really is a true credit to the hotel and the wider Arora group!

Will have to do my best to stick to a few glasses of wine as Michelle is always so generous….we want a clear head for the Concorde Lounge tomorrow 🙂

We have a booking at the HIE at T4 next month and I almost want to change it to the CP just to meet Michelle, given the glowing posts I read on here! Does she know she is a HfP legend?!

I would……stayed 200+ times at the CP and maybe a dozen times at HIX. Overall, it’s nicer. My only feedback is that the view is better from the HIX across the airport runway etc.

Brilliant. She is a legend on trip advisor that’s for sure. I have mentioned it before about HfP 🙂

Ha ha! Sadly no club rooms available for our stay now, but I was going to select a lounge pass for my 40 night reward which I’ll hit in December so I’ll make my next stay the CP after that!

How does one get lounge access at the T4 CP? Is it certain room types? Status or can it be added on?

I believe the option appears against room type, but you can also select an annual lounge pass as a milestone reward at 40 nights. I have very limited experience of this though (i.e. n=1 and not the CP at LHR T4), and not (yet) got a lounge pass so hopefully more knowledgeable folks will confirm

Escape is still new, so not much feedback as yet.
Between Aspire and Plaza Premium, I’d choose Aspire every time. It does get busy, so recommend pre booking if you can.

    +1 on this from @freckles.
If you decide to go to Escape can you put a wee note up on here with your experience please?

Thanks freckles and peggerz! Booked for the Aspire lounge. May try Escape if we fancy (will post here if so).

Has Plaza Premium gone downhill? Remember years ago it had a decent gin bar and cocktails
