I was being sarcastic. I was suggesting since they unhelpfully charged your credit card last night for a “no show” the least they could do would be to let you attend the jazz event as an apology.
For years I’ve had a cautious approach with any Amex offers and have always spent a few days in advance of the end date. Unfortunately I still have my overseas dining credit on my platinum card to spend by 30 June and think I won’t be able to use it where I would like to until evening LA time on 29 June (actually 30 June UK time). Do people feel that there is a risk that as Amex will take a couple of days to process this, it will end up using my 1 July – 31 Dec credit instead? Or is Amex better at this than I give them credit for?
EDI #icecreamgate update – at 7pm one of the staff went round the lounge to everyone wearing a Jude’s apron and carrying ice cream supplies in a tray like the old fashioned cinema ice cream sellers used to. So just maybe rationing it, wonder if it’s a regular hourly thing.

To be fair to QR experience once in Doha much better and quite effficent – booked onto the next flight which is in five hours. Doesn’t make up for how the situation on the ground earlier was handled however.
Still, I’m on holiday and a long way from work so won’t let it get me down!

Any thoughts on Panama for 9 days and maybe 5 in Costa Rica… I know it’s not much for CR but the Iberia flights suit?? Can’t find Panama in the destination file!
Jules Ice Cream has been available in LHR BA galleries south since mid-May. As of 6pm this evening three options were available to self-serve from the freezer.

You need to make sure you select Panama City in Panama (PTY) as opposed to Panama City Florida. Going to the former later this year using 241 from Madrid, but have been to the latter as we have friends who own hotels there by the beach.
