We need to see proof of status before we can negotiate.
Morning from the Eurostar coming back from Brussels. Luckily much quieter than the way over when there were Kids about 6y old literally swinging from the luggage racks above the seats and jumping across the spare seats too. The parents weren’t saying a word to them.
Took the chance to visit the lounge at Brussels via the amex plat card. Worked a charm with child too. Only downside there wasn’t time to have one of the cool Belgian beers, and the lounge guard stopped me when trying to take it out for the journey.
I do find it funny when arriving att the lounge they tell you where you can find the ‘lunch’ which consists of crisps and a slice of cake.
Happy Sunday everyone – has anyone ever had this message when trying to transfer avios from BA to Qatar -‘We’ve detected unusual activity on your account. For your security, we’ve temporarily paused certain actions’ ? Ive phoned BA twice now and no luck – has this happened to anyone else and how long did it take to resolve ?
I’ve just reached Titanium with GHA and one benefit is to share status with somebody. Not sure if that gives the other person Titanium too or if it’s a lower status level.
Was hoping somebody with a spare Hyatt Guest of Honour award might be interested in a swop for the (hopefully) GHA titanium status. My Hyatt stay is August.

I’ve just reached Titanium with GHA and one benefit is to share status with somebody. Not sure if that gives the other person Titanium too or if it’s a lower status level.
Was hoping somebody with a spare Hyatt Guest of Honour award might be interested in a swop for the (hopefully) GHA titanium status. My Hyatt stay is August.
The GHA status needs to have been achieved via eligible stays to be able to share, which admittedly is pretty straightforward, rather than a promotion.
I’m sure someone will be along soon.

Yes, I stayed at 3 brands and now have a little button that’s appeared where it says ‘share’ but if you click it it just send you to the page where it generates a ticket. No idea what info to add to this ticket, I suppose the GHA member info for the person I’d like to share it with.

4.9 The Share Tier Status benefit will have the following rules:
Titanium members are allowed to share their tier status with another member (it can be the same member they have shared with before) once per calendar year, once they have earned Titanium tier status through the normal tier credit requirements.
The validity of the shared tier status will be through the remainder of the calendar year that status was shared, plus the entire calendar year of the following year.
Members cannot share their status with themselves.
The Titanium member who is sharing their status must have earned their status by meeting at least one of the specified tier-earning criteria (30 nights, or $15,000 spend, or 3 brand stays) in a calendar year before they become eligible to share status.Yes I’ve done it, it is Titanium and it took a couple of weeks in my case.
