Hi all. I’m flying tomorrow and ran into a check-in issue. I couldn’t check in myself or my partner online initially, so I called BA, and they suggested trying to check in each passenger separately. This worked for me but not for my partner, so now I’m checked in, but my partner isn’t. BA assured me we both have seats and that it shouldn’t be an issue, but I’m a bit nervous about the possibility of my partner getting bumped since they’re not fully checked in. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and did it cause any problems at the airport? Thanks in advance for any insights!
Where are you flyign to?
This is just likely a ‘BA needs to see their passeport / swipe it into their system” issue rather than anything nefarious.
as above “where are you flying to ? ”
I’ve had this when flying to USA – because I had been selected for an extra security check (they wrote SS on my boarding card) Only took a couple of minutes, quick rifle through my hand baggage, swabs of it and my hands checked for explosives
Not really a hassle and if it keeps a terrorist off my flight can only be a good thing
