Hi all
is there anyway this can be done, Easyjet cancelled my flight and said I can rebook and claim back the cost, I rebooked myself on BA using Avios (maybe not the best idea but wasn’t sure if I could trust EJ).
Thoughts from anyone?
What was the cost of the equivalent cash ticket at the time?
Did you take a screen capture? that would be my starting point
is there a process for this kind of claim or will it be rejected? do you have any knowledge of this?
Claim at standard selling price (rack rate) it will cost you to buy back the avios from BA. Plus accompanying cash spend for the flight that was needed.
Yes, if you go via CEDR for BA compensation the only value they take is the current selling price (which is very much to your advantage)
is there a process for this kind of claim or will it be rejected? do you have any knowledge of this?
There should be a form for claiming the reimbursement on the easy jet website.
