Forums Hotel loyalty schemes World of Hyatt Club Access vs. Bed and Breakfast Rate

    Rob et al,

Please go easy on me as I am still very early day with WoH.

This may sound like a very silly question to some but why choose B&B rate when Club Access rate is cheaper — considering you will get breakfast and snacks/drinks with Club Lounge anyway? Obviously this is only applicable to those hotels with Club Lounges.

The only reason I can think of is Breakfast spreads in the lounge has less varieties compared to the actual breakfast venue within the hotel?

That’s right. The Hyatt that we are staying at the moment offers breakfast in the lounge but it is only cold food, other than scrambled eggs, served there.

Club access every time especially if you have free cocktail and nibbles , which in the middle east is so good it feels like half board full if afternoon tea included 😀

@Steven do you mind sharing which part of the world (hyatt) you’re staying? Reason being, I am looking at hotels in Asia, Shanghai to be specific and based on my limited experience with such like Conrad and Hilton, breakfast in the lounge is more than sufficient. Not sure about hyatt lounge though but as @Gee mentioned that drinks and snacks in the afternoon is a bonus.
