Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Companion vouchers

  • Royback 115 posts

I have racked up almost 200k points with more than 10k spending every year since 2018. I have never been given a companion voucher.

Should I seek a retrospective award? Any advice appreciated.

Found answer in another thread. Seems I’ve been being given them without ever knowing! I’m glad I cane to this wonderful font of knowledge.

So how should I spend them!

Well some of them will have expired as they’re valid for 2 years.
It depends where you want to go, when, and what availability there is on Virgin routes. There are far fewer options than on BA, for example, which might make it easier to decide!

    Hi Anna

Managed to use one on an upper class redemption earlier. Cost me some extra points but these were cancelled out using a voucher flight for the outward leg.

Due another voucher in April. All good!

Did you have to call up to book? Was it straight forward?

Yes you call but they are helpful. Also change fees are £30 per person if you change your mind about when/where to go.
