    Hi, is any compensation due if late checkout is not provided for platinum/titanium (not considered a resort) and is a tribute hotel

    Actually it’s the tribute hotel in Ibiza. Doesn’t say resort in the name.. I guess how do I find out if it’s a ‘resort’?

    The rules on ‘resort’ seem very flexible unfortunately. I would expect them to play the ‘resort’ card when challenged.

    Did you try to negotiate another option, eg moving to another room if you had a specific one which was allocated to an incoming guest? Not that this would necessarily have helped ….
