Forums › Frequent flyer programs › British Airways Executive Club › Confused – tier points uplift to Bronze
-
Hi, I wondered if anyone could explain – received an email yesterday saying congratulations i’d reached bronze etc. I’ve not flown since last December though and not due to fly for another 3 weeks. Annoyingly my tier points run out 2 days before i fly. My question is why would i now just go up? is it a mistake?
Check your account and statement. What are the latest transactions and your current tier points balance? Were there some tier points posted with a delay maybe? Is your actual account updated to Bronze or it was just an email which could have been sent in error…
it has actually been upgraded on the site. I checked back the last tier points were indeed in December. Could they have forgotten to add and backdated? i assume that the points would be seen as dated recently and not December though? it’s not something i’ve really taken much notice of
