Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Hilton Honors Conrad Rangali – full board/Rangali Beverage package vs pay as you go

    Hi all,

Looking at a 5 night points redemption next year in the sunrise water villa.

I am Diamond so the confirmed benefits from hotel are the buffet breakfast for two, wine bottle/chocolate/fruits on arrival and daily happy hour for 2.

What I can’t decide is whether to go for a full board and drinks package over paying as we go.

For the rates the hotel have given me, to get us both full board + Rangali beverage (alcoholic drink package) the F&B alone works out at £4200 for the 5 days. If we instead opt for the soft drink package as we’re not big drinkers it reduces the cost down to £3000. That’s still an eye watering figure for 5 days.

If we are say getting a 2 course meal at lunch and dinner with a couple of drinks for the 5 days – is the cost realistically going to be anywhere near those figures?

Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve also been advised the seaplane cost works out just over £1000 for both of us.

There are a couple of reviews of Rangali on here if you do a google search. e.g.

Readers have also posted about F & B costs and what you can expect to spend above what you get with Hilton status.
