Hi
Cruise 118 does not appear to be listed as a BA Partner any longer and the Cruise 118 British Airways landing page appears not to exist. (You appear to get sent directly to normal Cruise 118 page).
I know you had to be careful with their pricing, but it still was a good deal on some occasions.
Have they parted company?
Good question.
I was planning to re-run our Cruise 118 introductory article after Christmas to catch the cruise booking season but – as you say – all reference has gone from ba.com and the landing page is no longer there. I think it has quietly been dropped.
Quite a bit of this has been happening – Spectator, Charles Tyrwhitt, Alan Boswell Insurance, TopCashback, Midpoint. I get the impression that there is a focus now at Avios on only doing big deals which move the needle. Small deals like this are seen as too much trouble.
I don’t necessarily blame them – HfP is guilty of this as well at times with small partners who we outgrow – but it’s still a shame.
