Cruise 118 does not appear to be listed as a BA Partner any longer and the Cruise 118 British Airways landing page appears not to exist. (You appear to get sent directly to normal Cruise 118 page).I know you had to be careful with their pricing, but it still was a good deal on some occasions.
Have they parted company?
Good question.
I was planning to re-run our Cruise 118 introductory article after Christmas to catch the cruise booking season but – as you say – all reference has gone from ba.com and the landing page is no longer there. I think it has quietly been dropped.
Quite a bit of this has been happening – Spectator, Charles Tyrwhitt, Alan Boswell Insurance, TopCashback, Midpoint. I get the impression that there is a focus now at Avios on only doing big deals which move the needle. Small deals like this are seen as too much trouble.
I don’t necessarily blame them – HfP is guilty of this as well at times with small partners who we outgrow – but it’s still a shame.
