Tried to withdraw cash using card tonight, Barclaycard Avios Plus as underlying card but declined.
Curve sent me an email saying it was blocked by card supplier.
Anyone else had same issue?
This has been reported on another thread as an intermittent issue.

Whatever Curve might say about cash withdrawals, Barclaycard doesn’t allow free ATM withdrawals using your credit card, so if they work out that’s what you are doing, they will either block the transaction or charge a cash advance fee which is usually non refundable even using GBIT.
I withdrew from ATM last week, no issue (at least in terms of the money coming out of the machine, no cash withdrawal fee and points being earned on underlying Barclays Avios card).
However, my card was blocked the next day – see separate thread. For ‘suspicious’ activity. I doubt it’s to do with ATM withdrawal, but if not it’s a coincidence..
Same here, Metal. Tried 2 ATMs yesterday which I have been using forever and both declined withdrawal.
Contacted Curve, and amazingly got a replay last night to say it was my bank (Hilton Barclaycard), and I should contact their fraud dept and ask them to clear Curve transactions! Yeah right.
Curve is still working fine via Hilton BC for regular purchases.
If this is to be the new norm it’s definitely the end of the road for me with Curve this time, it barely pays for itself as it is…
I withdrew some Euros in Germany yesterday morning with my Metal, but fronted was on.
I withdrew £500 as usual yesterday but was declined multiple times today.
I withdrew 2 x £200 last month – hopefully this is one of Curve’s occasional (and temporary) wobbles.
Do the withdrawal not incur a cash advance fee anyway?
Do the withdrawal not incur a cash advance fee anyway?
Some underlying cards associated with Curve allowed / allows, fee free withdrawal so if you have metal it helps towards off-setting the annual fees!

I tried again this morning and successfully withdrew cash. Hoping, therefore, that @NorthernLass is correct.
Has the fee free 1k ATM limit on metal always been per calendar month? I’ve only been using it for a few months and could have sworn it was rolling 30 days and today got hit with a £10 fee (2% on £500)
It changed to the rolling 30 days some time ago, then shortly afterwards back to calendar month. There’s a thread on the last lot of major changes.
