Noticed fraudulent transaction last Thurs on my Curve card, requested email receipt to prove where (Tonbridge & I had just used it in Newbury)…froze the card & reported it to Curve via Chat, saying exactly what had happened. Got a half human/half bot reply requesting the info (again). Since then silence. Charge still on my Virgin card & no sign of a replacement card…I noticed a thread from some time ago with others having the same problem. How did anyone resolve it? Their customer service response time is appalling, other card suppliers would by now have refunded & got a replacement card on its way to me…any suggestions gratefully received…thank you.
I’m surprised. A similar thing happened to me with Curve. They reacted quickly and I had a new card within a few days.
Curve are a law unto themselves. If you use (I do) you need to accept the risk.
Curve want me to verify my identity. Every time I press ‘Let’s Get Started’ to proceed to verify my identity from within the app, it says ‘Try Again’.
My account has been blocked for months.
I genuinely fail to see how they are running a business where so much is going wrong and they fix nothing. Other than giving new names to new price plans every few months.
@ShacharBialick – How’s your court case with AmEx going?

Is that the court case he fist pumped about and promised Curve users an update on?? Don’t recall seeing that update yet………..

Curve would hardly be the first company or individual to say they were going to take legal action but not pursue the issue.
Curve also said it would take legal action against Tesco Bank when they started applying cash advance fees to all Curve transactions. Once it became apparent that others would follow Tesco, the matter was settled by passing on MCC codes that had not hitherto been communicated to underlying card providers. Amex doesn’t play with many of the fintech providers for obvious reasons.

Not sure who’s post your response relates to @JDB, I didn’t question whether Curve were the first company or individual to say they were going to take legal action but fail to pursue, fist pump or no fist pump. Nor did I mention Tesco bank. You’re talking to your own ego again it seems.
The answer to my question is a simple yes.
The underlying point you miss is the lack of update as promised and the ‘sweeping under the carpet’ thereafter, rather than his initial emotional public response.
As I’ve advised on here many times, if you don’t what a response then use chat, if you do want a response then send an email to support@curve.com.
@Points-Hound – were you seriously expecting an update? Did you really think Curve was actually going to issue proceedings against Amex and if so, what would have been the cause of action?
It was very obviously a bit of bravado, so for people to be raising the matter more than five years later and trying to hold something against Curve on that particular basis seems rather ridiculous and/or naive.

Now you fail to see the joviality where two people have had a ridiculing pop at curve’s leader, which you rearrange as a 5 year old grudge bubbling away under the surface with some sort of justice sought! Have I ever thought about it in the last 5 years until @cranzle’s jibe? No. do I use Curve? No. Do I have a sense of humour? Yes.
To answer the only point relevant, did i expect a response? Probably yes, admitting he was wrong. It would have been the simplest thing for him to do at the time.
“Did you really think Curve was actually going to issue proceedings against Amex and if so, what would have been the cause of action?” You’re up on your perch again @JDB, that question is not relevant given the mocking nature of the original comment which is clear to see, it’s simply you trying to feel like you are almighty as always.
Nobody ‘raised the matter’, you missed the jibe @JDB. Who commented about looking to hold something against curve 5 years down the line? Has that comment been removed or deleted as I can’t find the section you are referring to?
Glad you got the fist pump / bravado link though, this hasn’t all been in vain.
