    I received the 8 night promo too. Just dropped to Platinum but with work commitments will easily reach 8 nights by 20th March.

    Seems like IHG keeps on changing its mind about how many diamonds it wants to have

    I’ve just dropped from diamond but didn’t receive the email despite having a fair few stays last year. I currently don’t plan to do any stays with IHG this year unless I can get Diamond.

    Also, it seems odd you’ll only get Diamond for about 9 months. All other loyalty programs let you have status for the remainder of the year plus the following year, even when doing a status challenge.

    Received the 8 night challenge and for me it’s just about doable. With one but – how long will it take for the upgraded status to show up on my account? We’ve a big trip planned for Oman mid-March and would be great to have Diamond for that.

    Status tends to update at the same time the stay posts to your account – so two days after checking out

    When they ran a 15 night status challenge in mid-2022 the status ran until end 2023.

    That sounds hopeful, maybe be worth a phone call to customer services to help things along.

    It’s an automated process and I don’t think phone agents can accelerate it.

    Give it time to work through!

    I didn’t get targetted for this offer, probably as I’m diamond already.

    Did any didamonds receive it ? Would be super handy to accelerate status for 2026.

    Would a nice phone call to customer service have any effect ?
