Can I just check, BA used to have a rule where if your flight was moved by 5 mins, you got a free change. Am I right in thinking this has been amended and now required BA to have moved the flight by at least 120 mins?
Thanks
They currently only offer free amendments (+/- 2 days) for schedule changes of over 120 minutes which has been the case for a fairly long time and as it is by concession rather than any legal requirement, they can change it whenever they want.
The only exception to the 120 minutes policy is for same day returns, connections rendered invalid and flights that are part of a cruise booking.
I think the last time I used it was just before the COVID shut down so whilst it might be a stretch for you @JDB, 3 years ago is hardly a long time.
With a little bit of practice you might even get your EQ above zero…
