Difficulty booking point flights

Never booked a virgin points flight before but having accrued enough points for return to Barbados in upper and the reminder emails from Virgin about 50% points back I thought I would give it a go.

Much to my surprise there seemed to be some dates available for late Jan 2023 but when I clicked on the relevant box it then came up saying ‘some of the flights you’ve chosen are unavailable’. Basically an error message rather than a proper screen.

Have others had this? Is it because I’m using an iPad?

I doubt it, you could simply try booking on a desktop or laptop to see for yourself.
