Do Avios subscription purchases count as airline spend for double MRs?

I suspect the answer is no, but I thought I’d double check.
I wonder if I should pay with my Gold card or my blue card to work towards the target spend for the companion voucher.
No it doesn’t as the transaction is processed by Avios Group Ltd and not by BA.
