I attempted to book a flight operated by iberia yesterday evening and no avios availability on the BA site came up. There’s no gurantee you’ll see the same seats on BA.

Iberia appear to have availability however I cannot combine my Iberia and BA avios (account has been open over 90 days). Does anyone have any quick tips on how to get the Iberia account activated (getting the account above 0 avios) ?Thank you!

It does take 2-3 days however.

Does anyone have any quick tips on how to get the Iberia account activated (getting the account above 0 avios) ?As well as the 90 days requirement you also have to have some sort of earning activity such as crediting a flight or sending credit card points to it before you can transfer avios over to redeem.
Its to stop people seeing an offer and then just swoop in and create an account and transfer avios over.
When I opened my IB account I bought something cheap from eBay via the shopping link, can’t remember how long it took for the avios to post. It was a few years ago when Groupon in Spain were selling cheap avios!

They had not since I last tried around 4 months back.
