I have my own BA AMex Premium Plus card. I have had this a few months & have received my 30K Avios points for spending £3k in the first three months & have also just received my first Companion Voucher. Question – if I add a new card to the same account for my wife (to avoid paying another £250 for her own card), does she qualify for the 25K or 30K bonus points if she spends over £3k in the first 3 months ? The Amex site says there is a 3K Avios bonus for the first additional approved card but does not mention the larger Avios bonus.
I would be most grateful for any pointers.

DavidYour wife would have to get her own Amex in her name (i.e. a separate account) to receive any sign-up bonus. The 3k avios is for adding a supplementary card to your own account. If she’s eligible for an Amex, though, you could refer her and get some avios for that (usually 9 or 12k on the BAPP, it will say in your account).
