Hi,
We are travelling this weekend (BA via Gatwick) and are using AirportR to collect our bags so will have nothing to check in. However we will have a stroller – usually we get a tag for it at the check in desk. Will we still have to go to the check in desk for this stroller tag? Or can we get it at boarding?
Do you need a tag to get through security?
It is advisable as if you don’t get it tagged at check in, the people loading the aircraft won’t be expecting a buggy and there’s a chance they will close up the hold before you get to the gate with your buggy.
The alternative is to get to the gate very early and go to the staff and tell them you have a buggy that needs a label.
If you arrive at the gate during general boarding with no label, it will still be loaded, there’s just a possibility that it may cause a delay.
