Do Melia 20% discount vouchers still valid if you cancel your card?

I’m about to make a booking with the Melia 20% discount voucher for March but planning to cancel the card before end of Feb to get a pro rata refund of the annual fee. Does anyone know if the voucher will stay valid for the booking or will it be cancelled?

It will stay valid as related to your Melia gold status and not be platinum card. Gold status will remain after platinum cancelled too.
