Hi All
I’ve got a flight departing at 1am after I check out from International Doha Beach.
Just wondered will they let me use the beach, pool, changing rooms, etc after I have checked out?
Also, any suggestions of how I get Lounge Access (I don’t think it’s a Virtuoso linked hotel)
Thanks
Do you mean Intercontinental? I think you can book it via Emyr.
Most hotels allow you to use the facilities after check out if you ask nicely, and from my one visit to the ME, hotel staff in Doha (and Dubai) seem to especially bend over backwards to be accommodating to guests.

Yes, sorry, damn spell correct! Thanks
Intercontinental Doha Beach hotel
I have read they can be a bit mor difficult at beach resorts in Doha, as they charge a day rate for non-residents. Hopong someone might have been there.
Buy Intercontinental Ambassador status and 4pm is sorted at least. Then negotiate beyond that. Considering how early the sun sets in Doha in our winter, 4pm should suffice to give you a day on the beach and a shower in your hotel room afterwards.
You may well be right, but if you’re just hanging around for a few hours after you’ve actually been staying there, you’re not really a non-resident.
When I ask if I can use the facilities after check out I make sure to mention availing myself of the F & B options, they’re unlikely to turn down extra spend!
*Good idea from BWS!

That is also my tactic. I mention I have a flight after midnight and check out is at 16.00 but my favoured on-site restaurant doesn’t open for dinner till 19.00. Certainly in the summer in the Gulf, I wouldn’t want to venture off-site once showered for my evening.
In fact, my conversations usually go along these lines:
Me: “Our flight isn’t until later, is it alright if we stay a bit longer so we can eat in the restaurant before we go to the airport?”
Them: “Of course, Madame, and please feel free to use the pool and other facilities until you have to leave.”
How you ask is really important 😂
