Double Nectar points in June when you convert 400 to Avios

Convert 400 Nectar to Avios in June, and get double Nectar at Sainsbury’s/ Argos/ eBay/ Esso for the rest of the month.

Small print suggests only base Nectar points are doubled not the (essential to make the scheme worthwhile) bonus points.

Is this a worthwhile conversion? Seems like the minimum Avios I can convert to qualify is 600, due to the incremental limits.

You only need to convert Nectar > Avios. If you buy stuff on Sainsbury’s, etc. nonetheless it’s all gain. I expect to get the 400 Nectar back in any case.

This promo is back now for June 2024. Quite underwhelming this new promo, but Sainsbury’s is my local supermarket so I did a conversion to qualify for double nectar points.

This is very underwhelming. It certainly wasn’t worth a lead up message in the nectar app last month. These double nectar points offers never tend to work with other 2x, 3x multipliers via other sources, so I’m skipping this one.

Anyone spotted an opt in button? Nectar tend to need you to opt in but I can’t see one this time.

It’s mentioned in the text when you go to the British Airways partner offer page for converting points…….I didn’t see any other mention when I opened the app but others may have some headline showing…….

Anyone having issues converting? I have tried on a desktop and iPhone. When I click convert now, the page spins and takes me back to the same page.

All sorted – I needed to scroll down the page where the boxes say avios to nectar – click on the arrows and change it to nectar to avios and enter 400 nectar and then covert points.

Wasn’t sure if I should post this in daily thread or here, but I noticed in the nectar app a few good looking bonuses:

– 60 points from watching a minute video from Esso (think it has been reduced from 500 points)
– 300 points for buying £100+ of currency from Sainsbury’s bank online or by phone
