Forums Other Airport lounges DragonPass membership

I got a free DragonPass membership last year via the Regus offer and it’s due to expire end of this month. I noticed in the new Club Avolta app that they have an offer for a free DragonPass membership so I tried to sign up via that. Has anyone got it working?

When I click through I just get taken to a page telling me to download the app etc. But I don’t get any membership number or activation code either on screen or via email to add as a new membership in the DragonPass app.

Is it a glitch, or is it because I’ve already had a free membership via Regus I can’t get another via Club Avolta?

Email address is the same for both and I can’t amend in the Club Avolta app so would mean setting up a new account if that is the case

The email address being the same was the issue. I managed to change it by logging in on laptop rather than in the app, and then new membership details appeared.

BUT – it also looks like I can get another pass by the same Regus route as before (and it’s fractionally cheaper per visit as not charged in USD!)

I had DragonPass in 2020 via Dufry, the new Avolta t&cs it does say ‘new DragonPass creation’ only and didn’t give me a number to load into my existing DragonPass account. I’m sure there is probably a way to activate it but I have no need atm.

I did also notice Avolta has pushed me back down from Platinum status to Silver (5% off vs 10% World Duty Free). I wonder if this is temporary given I made a duty free purchase 2 weeks ago, and would be odd if everyone’s points reset to zero, even for recent purchases!
