Hi going to doha in December, looking for advice, is it worth hiring a car for a couple of day
Many thanks
Depends where you plan to go. Uber is plentiful and cheap although for some reason I couldn’t get one from the airport into town when I arrived and had to take a normal cab at twice the price

I was there last weekend. Easy enough to get uber or taxis around. Distances are never really that far, unless you want to head out in to the desert. Some of the driving I witnessed in my 2 days there was a bit haphazard, compared to UAE and Oman (as examples).
I have friends who live in Doha who have company cars. One has already had 4 accidents, having never had any when driving (living) in London.
Thanks for that we wanted to go out to the desert and inland sea but without dune bashing and camel ride which we have done in dubai 😀
Yes they stopped allowing you to get Uber from the airport this year, annoying. Driving over there is very aggressive. Seen a few accidents. I’m quite a fearless driver but I wouldn’t.
