Question to the Dubai frequenters:
which hotel would you choose from, Conrad Dubai or Intercontinental Marina? Rates at both are similar, and I also have too tier status with both Hilton and IHG.
Also, I read a while back a recommendation to buy a “dubai pass” – does anyone have any experience with this? Particularly, which of the experiences are best, and the best way to get a dubai pass?
Many thanks!
Conrad is good. Stayed in there for a bit before covid
Check emirates website they have offers on dubai passes right now
Conrad is on the western seaward side of SZR (still nowhere near the sea though) so is less overshadowed in its pool area than the IC Marina (whose pool faces inland and gets shady quickly). If your flight leaves DXB at or after midnight, perhaps book your final night in the IC Marina and benefit from the Ambassador 16.00 check out. The Conrad front desk staff, like most Hiltons, will act like you’ve just asked them whether their mother wears knickers or thongs if you ask re late check out.
