I am travelling back Business Class from Singapore ( Singapore Airlines) and have a 6 hr layover before BA flight to LHR. Anybody recommend the best lounge to use?
Thanks
Is this two separate tickets? Are you hand baggage only? If not HBO you will only be able to access the departures area after BA have opened check in as you’ll have baggage to drop off unless you can get SQ to through check?
I’m presuming you have BA Silver status or above or travelling business club world. If so you’ll get access to the BA lounge. If not you can access the Ahlan or Marhaba lounges via priority pass or dragon pass. The Ahlan first lounge is only accessible with Dragonpass. From what I’ve read I would skip the Marhaba lounge.
BA Club World passengers cannot access the BA Lounge at DXB unless Gold.

That’s not quite true, they can access as per the rules but often the agents will ask you to go to Marhaba due to capacity constraints. Their are reports that if your are firm they will let you in

I really don’t have the patience to argue with BA or their representatives with the DYKWIA routine, waving my boarding pass or proving any status or gain access to a lounge. It’s painful and uncalled for. Unless the flight is empty, you’re not getting in.

Thanks. Yes two separate tickets so will have to pass through immigration and check back in. So if I cannot use the BA lounge and I do have Priority Pass, which lounge would you suggest?

Thats fair enough. I think that article is out of date as it references the oneworld lounge checker which now says business/sapphire is eligible but guests may be invited to use Marhaba.

With priority pass the Ahlan is rated much better than the Marhaba.
