Have plenty of points; and Titanium with Marriott and Diamond with Hilton. Any recommends for hotel in Dubai that is good to go with wife and four year old daughter?

This forum recommended Grovesnor House for Dubai and went there last March on redemption stay and was really great. Perhaps that remains first choice.

    Thanks !

You are going to sightsee/shop? Or a beach holiday? Pool holiday an option? If a beach holiday, you want a private beach with the 4yr old?

GH is still the best Marriott choice in terms of bang for buck.

Hilton – only good option is the Waldorf on the Palm. Traffic on the Palm has become problematic though and it’s not unusual to take 30 mins to get from the Waldorf to the mainland. The other Hiltons in the JBR beach area are on the public part of the beach. And the Hilton Palm is across a busy boardwalk from their designated beach area (which is next to the dreaded Five hotel for influencers and those who enjoy thumping dance ‘music’).

Another thread was started today on Hiltons in Dubai, some recommendations there!

Thanks for responding. Beach mostly which is why Grovesnor was great with their sister hotel. The breakfast was great too. Nice enough lounge and large apartments.

Have stayed at most of the Hiltons and Marriotts in Dubai, and cant add much to that if you have a 4 year old in tow.
However you may want to consider Waldorf Ras al Khaimah?
Ras al Khaimah is just an hour up the road and about a 60 quid taxi fare. Waldorf RAK is a very impressive and beautiful hotel, with an enormous beach, a family pool and an adult pool, plus when I was last there a few years back they were opening up a brand new extensive kids area with a supervised kids club. The hotel has also been recently refurbished.
As Hilton Diamond you will get upgraded to some sort of Suite, plus a wonderful free breakfast (no lounge).
Waldorf RAK is also a fraction of the cost of Waldorf Dubai Palm, you could cover your taxi fare in one night.
The only drawback is there isn’t much else about the place, a small mall with food hall down the road and a golf club, that’s about it.
You could try a 2 centre trip this time and have a look at the place for a few days, it may be just what you’re after – I love the place!
Have a quick google and see 👍

Sadly the price savings in RAK have been diminishing in recent years. 2026 sees the opening of a Wynn casino resort in RAK, along with a slew of chain hotels cashing in on proximity to the casino. I fear that will attract a certain clientele that will change the tone at RAK’s better hotels.

Wait, I thought gambling was prohibited in Middle East culture?

So is alcohol, but that is widely available in many of these countries. Commerce trumps religious or cultural niceties.
