Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Easiest way to get from Premier Inn T4 to T5

  • 224 posts

Next month we’re staying as a family of 4 at Premier Inn terminal 4 (Heathrow) prior to MCO flight which is now from T5. (Got a deal through Holiday Extras including parking).

What’s the easiest (preferably free) way to get to T5? We’ll have large ish cases but more than capable of doing a fair bit of walking!

    TIA

This is based on being at T4

Take tube from T4 to T3 then cross platform for tube to T5. Free but you’ll need credit/ debit to tap in and out

Or train from T4 to T2/3 then change to T5. Also free but you need an inter terminal ticket from one of the clearly marked machines,

There is also a bus stop outside that will take you direct to T5.

If adequate time I would personally drive and drop the luggage at T5 even paying terminal fees and then take train journey next day making it trouble free.
Your flight may be eligible for twilight check in.

Yep. It’s called Sheffield Way. Bus 482 or 490. It is no longer free though you need a contactless card or oyster card each to pay.

The idea about doing twilight check in on the way to the hotel is a good one, will make taking the bus a lot easier the next day !

Thanks for the great replies 🙂

Our flight isn’t until 13.30 the next day – would that be too late to do twilight check-in the night before?

Yes. The cut off is 13.00.

You can walk it in about 45 minutes but you may look like idiots if it’s 30 degrees and you have big wheely bags.
