Emirates upgrade to Business

Hi all,

I am looking to book a cash only economy flight from LHR to DXB and the flight I am looking at says that the Flex fare have availability to be upgraded to Business for 39K (each way) Skywards miles.
Does anyone know if I will have to pay additional taxes on that?

Buying a business seat on points outright can be as low as 45K Skywards Miles one way. You’d have to wonder if paying economy price (never that low on Emirates) + 39K miles + business class UK APD (plus sneaky Emirates fees) is worth it.
