Eurostar – 40% off redemptions coming

Some good news. Just had an email from Eurostar about discount prices for redemptions coming in Feb. Looks like 40% in all cases.

Booking dates: From 6 to 16 February
Travel dates: 6 February and 3 November 2024 (inclusive) to and from London; 6 February and 7 September 2024 (inclusive) on all other routes

Standard one-way value fare. Was 1000, now 600
Standard one-way anytime fare. Was 1500, now 900

Standard Premier / Comfort one-way value fare. Was 2000, now 1200
Standard Premier (London only) one-way anytime fare. Was 2500, now 1500

Premium (not London) one-way value fare. Was 3000, now 1800
Business Premier (London only) one-way anytime fare. Was 3000, now 1800

This would be a good time to transfer some Amex MRs over and clear out my Eurostar account, but it appears Amex>Eurostar is still unavailable.

Hopefully they fix the transfers before 6 Feb.

Gee, perhaps they’ve realised doubling the redemption prices overnight without any warning has damaged the scheme?
