There’s not much to direct you to – just the platinum lounge finder which will show you get access to the Eurostar lounges by showing your Platinum card, no guests allowed and it doesn’t give you access to fast track security.

Your question is not the most specific, but via the below link you can read the T&C (that’s pretty much all the information “to which one can be directed”)

I would just add that if you speak pleasantly to the staff on the door they will usually allow your children in along with the cardholder(s)

Very hit and miss…I’ve tried twice and been told no both times. And yes I was polite, as normal…

Eurostar lounge staff seem to be getting more educated on the Amex Platinum benefit than before – on my last visit they checked that the Amex Platinum card was issued in one of the in-scope card countries/jurisdictions (UK/F/B), as they won’t provide the benefit to cardholders whose card was issued anywhere else (e.g. US). Ditto on single-cardholder entry without any guest allowance.

Yes, it is very hit and miss. The issue whether kids count as guests or not.
Player 2 took it as her personal mission as, in our last trips, our experience was rather unpleasant.
She wrote to the CEO, and her team told us (?!?!) she personally attended to the matter.

Expect to be refused with kids but, especially at weekends, you may get lucky.

I was refused last year midweek and I had Carte Blanche (so got 1 guest in plus myself) and my own Plat and they still wouldn’t let the three of us in. Obviously this was technically correct but especially inflexible given my Carte Blanche.

That’s good to hear as the lounge is crowded enough as it is, without allowing people in who shouldn’t be there, or their extended families.

I agree (and am a father of 3 children). The t&cs are very clear that there is no guest allowance for Amex Platinum card holders, so I don’t understand the complaints about Eurostar staff – Eurostar has a contract with Amex to provide a certain service and is doing so. I quite enjoy the Eurostar lounges – the Paris one has a fantastic setting & view over the historic train terminal, and the short time one usually spends waiting for the train means the somewhat average food offering doesn’t spoil it. Both London and Paris have very decent cocktail bars.

They don’t serve hot food but the breakfast is usually reasonable, granola, croissants, bread and jam etc, juice tea and coffee. perfectly adequate for free

I went though StP on Tuesday 12/9/2023 on a day trip to Paris with a friend. My £575 PLAX was OK, but his free Cashback PLAX wasn’t accepted.
The toilets at StP were disgusting at 0630am. The only word to describe them is “bogs”, plain and simple. They need a general clean and a deep clean – the cubicle walls, basins, lavatory pans. All stained and dirty and you could smell them across the waiting lounge – no signage required!
Onboard one of the two cubicles in the cafe coach were blocked with paper and full of pee. This was the first journey of the day.
Coming back, the tiny facilities at GdN weren’t much better than StP.
    Quite obviously a cost-cutting, management-led policy.

Agree with that – the breakfast is decent, the rest of the food well below airport lounge standardards (even low standards) – the standout are drinks, excellent smoothies in the morning and excellent cocktails in the afternoon/evening. Don’t go there for the food, do go there for the drinks. Most people only stay for much shorter than in an airport lounge, so the drinks focus makes sense.
