Extending Amex 2-4-1 voucher

My companion voucher has been extended already and expires 7th March 2022 but I can’t travel until after that date, so wondering has anyone recent experience trying to extend using the process Rob outlined in his topic of 6th August 2021? Thanks

Does it still make more sense to wait for a potential extension of the 2-4-1 voucher deadline or to just go ahead via the FTV route, to avoid the risk that the FTV option doesn’t get removed?

My 2-4-1 deadline is June 2022.
