Fairmont Ajman experience?

Hi all

Does anyone have an experience of the fairmont in Ajman or IC in Ras Al Khaimah? We are looking for a different emirate to visit.

My daughter has to visit Dubai early May each year. Last year after Dubai she went to both these hotels and she came away saying how much she enjoyed the IC Ras Al Khaimah. So much so, I’m hoping to join her there this May. We could stay for free with close relatives in Dubai, but I’m not a Dubai person and would rather pay and stay somewhere like the IC in Ras. I might be hugely disappointed. I will let you know!

Thanks just to let you know Accor are doing a third night free promotion in fairmonts including Ajman at the moment via luxury travel agents like Emyr. So might be worth considering as they are cancellable.

Ajman gets a bad rap because the beach isn’t great and not a long stretch like elsewhere. I’d definitely consider the Ajman Saray for a future trip.

IC RAK – I may be biased because I had club lounge access but I loved it. I can’t recall the last time I found a hotel so relaxing. I think I got through 3 books in 6 days.

That’s exactly what my daughter said, and we plan to relax. For the dates we are looking at rooms are around 30k points which seems very good value. I have lounge access too.

Great value at 30K then. I thought I’d squeeze in a pre-Ramadan stay there but instead splitting myself across Hilton (Diamond challenge) and Marriott (double night credits). IHG’s failure to offer a compelling spring offer has seen me take my money elsewhere.
