Has anyone from the HfP community stayed at one of the residences in Heritage Place Mayakoba? The reviews online seem a bit mixed so wondering if there is any first hand experience. Particular issues of concern seem to be lack of customer service in the villas, pools cold/not well maintained and delays in golf carts (needed as villas are quite far from the main resort).
Seems in general the Fairmont resort itself is very well regarded – but we really value the private pool and access to kitchen due to food allergies for someone in the group. Also would welcome any other recommendations where we would have similar villa/residence set up but with access to resort with AI option accessible from Cancun airport.
We are thinking end of July and are fully aware of the issues with hurricane season and seaweed!
