Is there a way I can find an official filed time of arrival for a flight?

My flight was delayed and google has the flight as arriving 2h59 mins late (eu to usa) but no one was able to disembark until after 3 hours late.

Flighradar and Flightaware come to mind as showing this sort of info.

It’s when doors open. Flightradar and Expertflyer have that info.

Flightradar says scheduled arrival 11:55, arrived 2:29pm, so no compensation due. You’re mistaking departure which was three hours late with arrival.

Unfortunately EWR airport arrivals shows it as landed at 2:54pm a delay of 179 minutes.

If you have evidence that the doors opened later than that you have a claim but I think it might be disputed by United. I think I’d claim anyway

Just realised that my link above wasn’t the official Newark airport site. Sadly even the official site shows the same info along with United Airlines own official flight status page.

That definitely wasnt the time the doors opened. At 1453 the plane was still moving to the gate and at 1457 they were still trying to attach the jet bridge.

Id kindof expected that they would try to ryanair it and file a delay of 2h59, so took a video showing the jetbridge moving and the time shown on the entertainment display being later than 3 hours after scheduled arival, would that constitute proof of compensation due?

Im actually more annoyed that it took them over an hour to find the hold bag, they didnt send all of the bags thru to the baggage carousel then were going backwards and forwards between carousels, causing me to miss an appointment. So yeah, if compensation is due, I want it 🙂

I’d definitely make a claim and submit your video evidence. Just don’t expect United to play ball. Good luck.
