I am flying BA first from Atlanta – London (only 85000 Avios!) arriving at 11am to T5. My connecting flight is economy to Glasgow at 4pm also from T5. I know that i can access the Concorde Lounge in T5 but which other lounges can i visit in my 5 hour layover? Is it possible to visit the 1st class lounges in Terminal 3? Thanks!
You can visit any of the BA lounges in T5 once you get there.
But the BA flight to/from ATl operates from T3 not T5
If ypur arriving at T3 I recommend the AA arrivals lounge befpre heading to T5. Very pleasant ☺️

Sorry yes, arriving T3
Is the arrivals lounge landside though?
I’d just go straight to the CCR, tbh! It can take a good hour to connect from T3 to T5 if it’s busy.
Yes the arrivals lounge is landside
Haven’t been to the AA arrivals lounge so that might be a better option, but with 5 hours I would transfer landside to T5, getting the transfer stress/hassle out of the way, use the BA arrivals lounge there and then First Wing to the Concorde Room.
@NorthernLass. Would just go landside it’s a quick train and straight through first wing be mighty unlucky for that to take an hour.

Depends on how much you like walking I guess.
From T3, via immigration, it will be a 10 minute walk to the HEX /LIZ or even tube platform to go to T5, and then the walk from the north end of the terminal to the south to go in via the First Wing.
If staying airside it will be a shorter walk to the FCC than to immigration, and when the bus gets to T5 just up the escalators into connections and again up one escalator to security and a right turn into the CCR. Immigration will likely be quicker via the FCC, security probably slightly slower than the First Wing.
Not sure why you’d bother with either of the arrivals lounges when the T5 CCR is available, except perhaps for a change of scenery and to break up the five hours. The former close at 1400, but either way it makes sense to do the T3 – T5 transfer earlier rather than later to avoid any unnecessary panics.
As has been said airside involves less walking, and is nominally less risk. If a bus breaks down, another bus will appear fairly quickly. While rare, should a train break down in the tunnel it will become stressful.
