Flight cancelled. Avios refund?

We had an 8am flight from JFK to LHR in May cancelled and put on flight at c7pm the same day.
We have been told we will get derisory refund for food allowance etc and 600 euros compensation each.
Should we be able.to claim for reimbursement for the avios sent for the flight cancelled?

No, they flew you home. They’re buying your food for the day and giving you £520 compensation. It’s frustrating but £520/for 11 hours is a hardly nothing. That seems reasonable to me, presumably you were economy or premium else you’d have used the lounge through the delay.

I understand from posts here that Virgin can be more generous in this situation.
