Cannot find a subject on this, I have a flight for May, where the flights have been changed a few days ago.

Options given are the standard change to any available flight or cancel.

Is there a deadline on these options, as I cannot see any.

If cancelled, BA says travel within one year of ticketing date, UK261 refers to the passenger’s convenience as Article 8, s1 (c). UK261 applies.

Of course if you want to cancel and get a refund the sooner you do that the sooner the cash is back in your pocket.

And if you did still want to travel there may only be limited alternatives and the longer you wait they may not still ne available.

Practically, the deadline is till very close to the flight, but personally I’d deal with it at least 72hrs-1 week ahead taking account of BAFIHGS’s comment above.

You do now have the right to choose another travel date(s) that suits you, for your whole ticket at no extra charge, Regardless of whatever the selling price of the flights might be by the time you decide though. This is quite valuable, as as soon as you take a refund, that is the matter closed and the refund may turn out not to be enough to purchase whatever else you might like. So take your time if you still want to fly the same route.
