Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Flight Deal: £2800 for 440TP a good deal? HAN-JFK-LHR

I think I’ve found an interesting flight deal. Only suitable for those that are looking to go to Vietnam, or starting from Vietnam, back to London. Have not tried out other permutations (the other way round) or Depart/Return to London.

Hanoi to New York JFK, via Doha. First leg via Qatar Airways, second leg via American Airlines. 140TP + 160 TP in Business.
New York JFK to London. On British Airways or AA, 140TP.

You can choose different times from NYC to LON, seems like loads of times work, not just one or two.
I haven’t played around with the dates yet to see if there are even cheaper prices available later in the year.

There is also the possibility of having the end airport to be European (CDG, AMS, DUB) that might get you even more TPs for not much more extra £ it looks like.

But this is a great way to experience three different business classes too! Qatar, AA, and BA.
The Business pricing also seems to be quite cheap, given the number of hours flown.

    No. Not a good deal.

Apart from the fact you need to get to Hanoi, it isn’t even cheap on a per tier point basis.
