Forums Other Flight changes and cancellations help Flight delay compensation

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

TUI package holiday to Tenerife. Flight provided by Ryanair plane. Scheduled return time 20:20hrs but arrived at 00:39 hrs. Problem with their plane so had to wait for a replacement plane to arrive from Stansted.

I believe we are entitled to the 400euro compensation?
And if so, who do we claim against, TUI or Ryanair.

Many thanks in advance if anyone can help or point me to somewhere that can.

I’m more familiar with flight-only delay compensation, where it is always the operating airline (Ryanair in this case) that would be responsible.

Unless someone pops up here with better knowledge, I would suggest you research with keywords like: Ryanair, EC261, UK261, “delay compensation”

I would claim from Ryanair in the first place as the operating airline. If it was wet leased to TUI then I’m sure Ryanair will tell you, and then you’d claim from TUI
