    Hi all,

I want to do London to brisbane with my wife. We do have the 241 B.A voucher and 200,000 avios.

Going at the start of August and coming back at the end of August. We would like to go in buisness class return (once in a life time) probably stopping off in Dubai for 3 nights coming back.

Had a look at using 241 to DXB from London in buisness class and then paying for buisness class from dxb to brisbane.

What is the best way/value to do this please all?

    Thank you

If you want to maximise the 2-for-1 voucher and minimise cost, assuming availability, it’s probably BA redemption to Singapore then a 1-stop cash ticket onwards. (eg Philippine Airlines will do you Singapore – Manilla – Brisbane in business for around £1000)

There’s a lot more options into Sydney than Brisbane, and tends to be pretty good avios availability on the Qantas domestic flights between the two.

From the UAE to Sydney / Brisbane, paying cash, for August, you’re looking at over £3k for anyone decent in Business.

You may also prefer to look for (and find better availability) on Qatar with Avios on the Qatar site

I’m guessing August this year? You may struggle with availability but as others have said Qatar is the better option to and from Australia. To use your voucher a flight to Singapore would be worthwhile (or KL) then a one way to Perth which is what I did this year.

And once you did it, it won’t be once in a lifetime 🙂
