Obviously I can cancel an Avios booking for £35, but which airlines offer long haul flights that are fully refundable with no fees at all either with cash or points?

Plenty of airlines offer fully refundable tickets but even then they all have their own T&Cs so it’s not an easy question to answer.

I’ve never seen an airline that doesn’t offer fully refundable cash tickets but they just cost an arm and two legs.

Fully refundable with no charge on points, Virgin for one.

I always considered BA Holidays to be similar to that. Just select your flights and add a LHR hotel the day before (or even one night at your destination if cheaper).

(obviously this becomes NOT refundable 7 weeks before the trip for LH – 4 weeks for SH – so may not be what you are after)

But you lose your deposit if you cancel a BAH, so minimum £120?

    Not for partner redemption though?

And I’m pretty sure lcc don’t usually offer full refunds?
