Gatwick South Twilight Check-in.

Does anyone have any recent experience of checking in hold luggage the night before a flight at Gatwick. Our flight with BA (Iberia Express) leaves at 6.45am on Saturday and we’re staying at the Hilton the night before. I’ve contacted ME via Twitter and they say it is available but the Gatwick website states that no twilight check-in is available for ANY airline. Any help would be appreciated.
